Bill and Ted Face the Music
Last night, right before the fun with the wind blowing everything off our deck, we watched Bill and Ted Face the Music. The wind hit just as the end credits were rolling and we were waiting to see the obligatory after-end-credits scene, but the power decided to go out just at that moment. Oh well. The movie itself? Enjoyable. Was it worth the price? Let me put it this way... my very first DVD purchase was Mortal Kombat. My very first Blu Ray purchase was Stealth. Yikes. So I am used to throwing away good money after bad. Bill and Ted had some solid moments. Moments. Yes, it was strange seeing John Wick without his beard. And Alex Winter looked like... Alex Winter, but old. Overall, it was something new and the last new movie we watched was the live action Mulan, but that's another blog post all unto itself! Before that? Nothing new. So we hit PURCHASE and bit the bullet. I even convinced my wife to actually buy the movie, because if you're going to throw away $20 you might as well go all in for another $5. They say beggars can't be choosers. That said, is Bill and Ted Face the Music worth the money? Compared to Mulan and it's $30 price tag... yes. Alone? Wait for the price to go down. It's worth it for the moments. But moments aren't worth the price paid.
